Sarah was out on her property one day when she noticed a big white dog lurking in the woods. She and her husband went to get the dog, but she was very skittish. They had to chase her for 2 hours through the woods but eventually she plunked down and wouldn’t move. So, Sarah’s husband picked the big matted dog up and carried her to the garage where she could decompress.
They immediately noticed something was wrong with her so they brought her to the vet and were told ‘Jolene’ had the worst hips that he had ever seen.
Eventually, after taking care of Jolene for a few weeks, the couple realized she wasn’t going anywhere and they adopted her.
With her new family, Jolene has become very loving and she gets along great with her new furry sibling, Hannibal. And Jolene really loves Sarah’s husband. Any time he is close by, she just melts in his arms.
