A young dog surrendered to a pound in Ireland turned out to be absolutely terrified of people and she was so afraid she wouldn’t leave her kennel. The pound reached out to Dogs Trust Ireland for help because they knew Tasha wouldn’t have a chance of being adopted.
So Jason and other Dogs Trust staff began to work with her to earn her trust. They took her back to their centre where she could be rehabilitated further. She was so exhausted that the first thing she did at their centre was sleep.
Soon she was playing with other dogs and people and after celebrating her birthday, Tasha got the best present ever – a home!
