Stray Dog Who Went From Reactive To Smiling Desperately Needs Foster Home

Reactive and unpredictable, Bruno (aka Mr. Grumpy Pants) arrived at the Kern County Animal Services shelter after Danny of A Safefurr Place called them for help in rescuing him off the streets.

The bully dog didn’t adapt well to the shelter at first. But thanks to Danny’s daily visits, Bruno warmed up to people again and learned to trust them. But that was two months ago, and Danny says Bruno desperately needs help.

“He has been at the shelter for over 2 months now. He needs to find a adopter, foster, or rescue organization to get him out of the shelter,” writes Danny. “A Safefurr Place is unable to rescue him from the shelter at this time due to a lack of foster homes in the BAKERSFIELD AREA for large dogs like Bruno.”

So Danny has put out a call for a foster caregiver to help them. If you live near Bakersfield, CA, and would like to help Bruno and other dogs like him you can email A Safefurr Place at info (at) asafefurrplace (dot) com. Kern County Animal Services can also be contacted. Bruno’s ID number is A1142747.
