Rescued Dog And Miniature Horse Are Inseparable Best Friends

Miniature horse Spanky and his canine friend Dally, a Jack Russell Terrier, were rescued by horse trainer Francesca Carson and have lived together since.

Spanky was a wild little stallion—aggressive and naughty when Carson first got him. He was so rambunctious that even the big horses were afraid of him. But when Carson began training Spanky and introducing him to new friends, he began to calm down. And when he met Dally, he met his match. He mellowed even more after Dally started jumping onto his back.

Dally had always watched Carson and Spanky during their training sessions, and one day, she decided to leap onto Spanky’s back. He didn’t seem to mind his new passenger. As for Dally (usually quite serious) she becomes more playful around Spanky. The two are such a positive influence on each other. They now perform together, wowing audiences with their tricks and showing the world that you can turn your life around with the love of a friend.
