Dog Was Tied to a Tree in the Morning — By Evening, They Realized He’d Been Dumped

Beans was alone and tied to a tree in the morning sun when neighbors first noticed him. By afternoon, someone brought him a bowl of water. By evening, they knew the heartbreaking truth. The dog had been dumped. That’s when they called Stray Rescue of St. Louis, and Donna, the shelter’s Chief Lifesaving Officer, came to get him.

Stray Rescue shared a video of the rescue and wrote that neighbors “called for help and when we laid eyes on this cute guy, we knew we were in love.”

Neighbors said this dog was tied up to a tree in the morning. By afternoon, they delivered a bowl of water. By evening, they knew he was dumped. They called for help and when we laid eyes on this cute guy, we knew we were in love. We named him Beans, and he deserves better. This one year old has the cutest ears. The cutest paws. The cutest pink nose. Now he just needs a family to tell him how cute he is. To appreciate him, to take care of him, to love him! At first, Beans was hesitant and let out a few low barks. But in the car, he was all smiles and tail wags. Stray Rescue figures Beans is around one year old and “has the cutest ears. The cutest paws. The cutest pink nose.”

His video has since gone viral and why wouldn’t it? He’s adorable. Stray Rescue is now looking for a family to foster or adopt him. They wrote, “Now he just needs a family to tell him how cute he is. To appreciate him, to take care of him, to love him!”

“He is 1 years old, male, sweet as heck, 47 pounds, and ready to GO. Take this star home before all the fame goes to his head!” they joked. Beans is ready for foster or adoption: Strayrescue.org/Foster
