Man Rescues Stray Dog from the Streets—Then Discovers She Needs Saving All Over Again
A content creator filming in a Texas neighborhood became an unexpected dog rescuer when he spotted a stray Pit Bull looking defeated and alone on the streets.
Harry, who runs the channel Pigeon Vizion, was filming near an abandoned building in Dallas, Texas, when he noticed the dog hunched in a corner. Concerned, he jumped over a fence to check on her and brought her some water. The dog was clearly frightened but looked too exhausted to react.

“She had no fight in her,” Harry said. Wanting to see some hope in her eyes, he decided to help. He picked her up and took her to a vet, who initially said she was “all good” aside from having fleas. Harry named the dog Stella and brought her home.
But that evening, Harry grew concerned when Stella didn’t pee. Sensing something was seriously wrong, he rushed her to an emergency vet. X-rays revealed a shocking diagnosis: the dog’s pelvis was broken, and her digestive system was blocked with bone fragments, Styrofoam, and other debris she had eaten out of desperation. She needed emergency surgery to survive.

Stella underwent pelvic surgery, and just 21 days later, she’s doing remarkably well. Harry shared a short clip of her recovery on his Instagram page. Thanks to his supporters he has been able to give her the care she needs.
Looking back, Harry believes that if Stella had ended up in a shelter, she likely would’ve been euthanized due to her injuries. Though she was microchipped, the vet’s calls to her previous owners went unanswered.
Originally, Harry had planned to foster Stella temporarily—but now, he can’t imagine life without her. Not only did Stella get rescued, but she’s also found her forever home.
