Bulldog Mysteriously Shows Up On Woman’s Farm and Finds the Family of Her Dreams
Andrea was heading out to feed her goats one morning when she suddenly spotted an English Bulldog sitting on a log outside the goats’ pen. She had no idea how the pup had ended up at Tresle Farms in Hudson Valley, New York. The dog just sat and watched as Andrea approached, so she ran back to her barn home to grab food and water, which the pup gratefully ate. The dog immediately sensed Andrea could help her and began to follow her.

At first, Andrea felt a little nervous about this unexpected visitor, but the dog trusted her completely. Reviewing her surveillance cameras, Andrea saw that the dog had wandered onto her property just after midnight. She quickly contacted the local shelter, filed a police report, took the pup to the vet to be scanned for a microchip (there was none), and shared her information on social media.
Until an owner came forward, Andrea’s family decided to care for the bulldog. They named her Stella, and Andrea suspected she must have been someone’s pet because Stella was well-mannered, loved playing fetch, and wasn’t dirty when found. Also, apart from a cherry eye and not being spayed, Stella was in good health.
A week passed with no claims. Then two weeks. That’s when Andrea and her family knew Stella belonged with them for good.
Now, Stella is thriving in her new home. She gets along with the other dogs, enjoys visiting the goats, and even rides the mule like a pro. From an unexpected midnight arrival to a beloved family member, Stella has truly found a place where she belongs.
