Who doesn’t love a clever canine escape artist? A dog at Pike County Animal Shelter in Kentucky recently went viral after he was caught on surveillance cameras pulling off a “mission impossible” by scaling and then jumping over the tall kennel enclosure with surprising ease.
The shelter shared the video of Chase’s jailbreak on social media, where it’s quickly captured the attention of dog lovers across the internet.
And what did Chase do once he broke free? He trotted over to say “hello” to all the other dogs, of course. Or maybe he was scoping out a way to bust them out too?
The shelter wrote:
“Oh Chase! Love this sweet boy. Is anyone interested in an active dog who wants nothing more than to be by his humans? Then this is your boy! He is good with other dogs, but I think he prefers more submissive dogs. He still needs to get neutered and can be neutered one day this week. If you’re interested in this sweet boy, come by and meet him. Ask for Chase at the front office, as we have him in a room now instead of a kennel since he figured out how to get out.”
