Abused Belgian Malinois Experiences Love For The First Time

The Goodlin siblings and their family often foster dogs, helping to socialize, rehabilitate, and prepare them for their forever homes. With 16 dogs of their own, the four siblings have a lot of experience caring for animals in need.

Known as The Good Hype on TikTok, the Goodlin family shares a love for sleeping, shopping, and traveling the world always with their dogs by their side. Their dogs are truly family, and they spend nearly every moment together, bringing them everywhere they go.

One of their recent foster dogs was a young Belgian Malinois who had endured heartbreaking abuse. They shared:

“Our hearts broke the moment we saw this sweet baby girl knowing her life up until now has been filled with nothing but fear and abuse. When she arrived at the shelter in 2023, her little body was covered in wounds and lacerations. She was adopted in December of 2023, only to be returned last month, starving and in even worse condition. When we picked her up from transport, she was terrified of everyone. We’ve been taking it slow, moving at her pace, and in just three short days, she has already begun to open up to us and learn what it means to be loved for the very first time. Fostering may not always be easy, but it’s always worth it.”

They also shared a beautiful video showing the pup experiencing a series of firsts: her first bed, her first toy, her first time feeling safe — and her first real taste of love.
