Nervous Rescue Dog Tries to Leave Store With Giant Dinosaur Toy — Then Politely Waits in Line
Kevin is a rescue dog who can be a little nervous around people, but luckily he’s found a home with Katie and Tate, foster parents in New York City (TikTok @katieandtatesfostermates). One thing that helps calm him down and makes him less reactive is stuffed toys. “We discovered Kevin ins’t reactive if he gets to pick a toy,” they wrote.
Recently, they took Kevin to PetSmart, where the small toys just wouldn’t do. Instead, a very large blue dinosaur caught his eye — and he tried to make off with it without paying. “And he almost got away with it too,” wrote @katieandtatesfostermates. His pawrents, however, made sure he was a good shopper. Kevin patiently waited in line at the checkout counter and carried the toy all the way to the car, never letting go. It even doubles as a headrest.

Now at home, Kevin is making sure to take care of the dino which includes keeping it clean.

His pawrents revealed that “Kevin’s long legacy of exchanging bribes for good behavior.” It’s hard to hold it against him though, because he’s so darn cute!
