She Never Gave Up: Woman Finds Her Stolen Frenchie After 2-Year Search
When her French Bulldog, Havoc, disappeared, it was the worst day of Yasmine’s life. She quit her job and vowed to find him no matter what. That promise would take her on a two-year journey filled with heartbreak, hope, and purpose. Along the way, she rescued six other dogs and began helping other pet parents search for their stolen Frenchies.
Yasmine had raised Havoc since he was 8 weeks old and had cared for him for nearly four years before he went missing. He escaped while Yasmine’s elderly, disabled mother was pet-sitting and couldn’t be found. Knowing that Havoc was a purebred, unneutered Frenchie—a valuable target for thieves in California where she lives—Yasmine feared he would never be returned.
Then, one day, she saw a post from a woman who said a dog had wandered into her front yard. It was Havoc. But in a strange twist, while Yasmine was speaking with the woman, a man who had kept Havoc for two years was also trying to reclaim him. Fortunately, the woman and her husband insisted on taking the dog to a vet to scan for a microchip before giving him to anyone.
The microchip confirmed the truth. Soon after, Yasmine and Havoc were reunited in an emotional, long-awaited moment.
“Miracles happen. I’m proof of that,” Yasmine said. Watch the full story and their happy reunion in the video below.
