Stray Chihuahua Was Rejected, But His Brave Heart Led Him To Love Again
A Chihuahua named Fieval was found as a stray and brought to a shelter. He had a microchip but any hope of reuniting Fieval with his family was quickly squashed when his owners refused to take him back.
Melissa saw Fieval at the shelter and thought he was “too cute to resist.” But when she brought him home he was very nervous. But Melissa and her husband Eric decided to wait for him to want attention…and they didn’t have to wait long.

Now Fieval is a velcro dog who loves showing so much affection and playing with their other dogs. Melissa can’t understand why his original family didn’t want him back because “he’s the perfect dog.”
She feels like Fieval’s amazing turnaround in just a few short weeks has inspired her to remember to have courage in difficult times. She says, “Just be brave and know that the hard times are going to pass because with him he lost everything that was familiar to him and was really scared and unsure, but he was also really brave.”
