Pit Bull and Her Puppy Rescued From Freezing Texas Streets
A Pit Bull living on the streets with her puppy is so grateful to be adopted. Nixi had been trying to survive in Houston, Texas, during the winter. Normally, the weather wouldn’t be a serious threat, but temperatures were expected to drop below freezing.
An animal rescuer named Andrea heard about the mama dog and her pup and became concerned. She reached out for help, but with local shelters at full capacity, she turned to social media. Fortunately, a kind-hearted family adopted the puppy. However, when no one stepped forward for Nixi, Andrea decided to take her home.
