An old dog with a severe wound to his head crawled into someone’s home before Animal Aid Unlimited was called.
The dog didn’t know it, but he was in his final hours of life when they saved him.
“We got a call to rescue a street dog who had wedged himself behind a motorbike to hide from the terrible pain he was in,” the rescuers write.
“He had maggots infested in a deep wound on his head and he was extremely stressed and confused from excruciating pain.”
“The maggots would have reached his brain within just a few hours, but thankfully someone called us in time and we were able to save his precious life.”
