Two Bull Mastiffs Hilariously Spooked By Odd ‘Intruder’ In Their Yard

You’d be hard-pressed to think that Bullmastiffs Nakita and Sitting Bull would be spooked by anything, given they each weigh in at 130 pounds. But when the pair of dogs spotted something strange in their yard, they got seriously spooked.

What did the “intruder” turn out to be? A helium balloon floating near the ground. The “scary” balloon didn’t seem to faze Kalica, the Siberian Husky, who clearly doesn’t understand why her canine siblings are so freaked out.

The dogs’ family shared that these three adorable dogs have since passed over Rainbow Bridge but will always have a place in their hearts, writing:

“You all will be missed. These dogs were great and friendly dogs to be around. Nakita was a friendly dog, almost too friendly. Preferring to lay on you and cuddle. She would go out and hunt/explore with Kalica (White Siberian) at night and sometimes come back so muddy that you could not recognize either of them.

“Sitting Bull was the boss of the farm, and would stand guard outside and warn of anyone approaching that he did not know. His farts were room clearing but was well loved.

“Kalica, the white Siberian, loved to hunt mice and explore. The trouble that she would get into was astounding and we laughingly joked that she was more cat then dog because of all the brushes with death she had. She survived parvo as a pup, when her brother did not. Was hit by a car at around a year old. Which she would use to get out of trouble by limping or holding it up. More recently after some bad flooding she was found in a sink hole and had to be rescued.

Some call these dogs dumb, worthless etc but most saw them as what they truly were, part of the family. RIP I will see you on the other side.”

Nakita and Sitting Bull’s reactions remind us of Maverick and Baily – two Boxers spooked by an intruder in the pool.
