Tiny Chihuahua Found on Roadside Finds Her Best Friend
Alison ended up with more than just a dog, she gained a best friend, after her brother-in-law found a starving Chihuahua on the side of the road. Chiquita, as the little dog is now named, was in terrible shape and weighed only 2.5 pounds. Her ribcage was showing, and she was covered in fleas. Someone had cruelly dumped her and left her to fend for herself.
Since Alison’s brother-in-law had a newborn baby on the way, he gave the pup to her. It didn’t take long for Chiquita to blossom into a “spunky,” happy dog. And although she was unsure about Alison’s dad at first, she soon warmed up—and now she has a big soft spot for both her family and Taco Bell. Watch her heartwarming rescue story in the video below:
