This video from Animal Humane New Mexico has a simple but important message for the holidays.
In the video, we see a shelter dog being selected by a new family. He gets a round of a applause as he exits the shelter and he’s on to a wonderful new life filled with happy memories – playing in the park, lots of treats and toys, cuddles with his humans. It’s the life he’s always dreamed of…but it remains just that, a dream.
What a powerful reminder about how to help make a shelter dog’s dream come true not only for the holidays, but at any time of the year!
