Man In Suit Plunges Into Icy Pond To Save Drowning Dog
Last week, a dog was struggling to survive in the icy waters of a pond in New York City’s Central Park. Only her front legs were out of the water as she desperately fought to climb out.
When one man spotted her in danger, he didn’t hesitate. Still in his suit, he plunged into the freezing water, inching his way across the ice toward her.
Bystanders watched as he gripped a red wooden ladder, using it to break the ice. Finally, he reached the pup and gently lifted her to safety. The water-logged dog glanced back at her rescuer before safely reaching shore, followed closely by the heroic man.
