How to Make Crockpot Dog Food

Crock pot cooking is well-known for its convenience and versatility. But did you also know you can use it to cook up nutritious meals for your dogs?

The great thing is it includes healthy ingredients and can be prepared really easily. For this recipe you will need a crock pot, 10 minutes of prep time and approximately 4 to 6 hours to let it cook.

Ingredients include:

3 lbs lean ground chicken
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
1 cup of green beans
1 cup butternut squash
1 cup peas
15 oz can kidney beans
1 cup carrots
4 cups water

Place ground chicken, chopped carrots, kidney beans, green beans, butternut squash, peas, rice, and water in Crock-Pot. Cook on high for 4 hours or 6 hours on low. Once done, stir thoroughly and serve.
