Great Pyrenees Tries to Nap But These Cute Baby Goes Have Other Plans

Sometimes being a livestock guard dog means letting your little friends jump around. This Great Pyrenees dog is trying to take a nap but these cute baby goats had other plans.

This Great Pyrenees Dog lives at KNS Farm and looks after the goats there. But even a hardworking dog needs a rest now and then. But the way he is so calm and ignores the baby goats jumping on him makes us suspect that he’s has this happen a lot!

Viewers also loved the big dog’s reaction to his tiny charges. “He’s got a big smile on his face even when he’s sleeping,” commented one viewer. “He loves his job protecting the little munchkins.”

“The way baby goats bounce and pounce and fling and spring here, there, and everywhere has always cracked me up! So cute and full of fun,” wrote another.

Pyrenees are not only gentle and tolerant with the animals they live with, they are fierce when the animals under their care are threatened.

One viewer shared the story of a Pyrenees they knew. “I lived outside of Asheville NC for years. One of the neighbors had a Pyrenees, and they let it travel the neighborhood,” @tanindunn8379 wrote on YouTube. “Beautiful, friendly dog. He was pretty amazing. We also had a bear problem. This Pyrenees had absolutely no issue chasing off bears. He was not afraid. It was always impressive watching him chase them off. He did it in such a calm manner, he never ran at them. He slowly walked towards them, as he got closer he started to bark, then he would walk back and forth, at angles, to keep the bear heading straight, and he didn’t stop until the bears were deep in the woods. Really impressive animals.”
