Family Puts On Hilarious Show To Help Dramatic Dachshund During Paw Trim
Most dogs just need a treat after getting their paws groomed but not Frankie. Frankie Leigh the Mini Weenie Dog needs a lot of distractions when she gets her paw pads trimmed. And by a lot, we mean a whole lot! That’s when her auntie and pawrents put on a big show. While her aunt vacuums with a Dyson and uses one foot to squeak Frankie’s Lamb Chop toy, Dad sings a catchy tune with the lyrics, “Frankie…who wants a cookie?”

As viewers realized, Frankie’s family is overstimulating her to the point she can’t react — and it works! Mom and Dad shared, “She did indeed get lots of cookies for being the best little girl.”
The video has gotten nearly a million views, with many viewers so impressed by the performance that they want to sing along with the gang. One viewer did have a question, asking: “I wanna know how you all figured out this is the winning combination for Frankie.”
Another viewer noted Frankie’s breed and commented, “Of course it’s a dachshund. They’re such drama queens.”
Two people working in the pet industry thought this was both funny and true. “For anyone wondering, when a vet tech takes your pet to the back for a nail trim, this is exactly what’s happening,” wrote one viewer. “This is hilarious because I work at a pet salon and will do WILD things to distract dogs that don’t like nail trims lol,” said a groomer.
