Funny Dog Won’t Bring Toys to Bed — He Brings Home Décor Instead
Dukie is a dog who likes having certain belongings around him when he naps. But they aren’t the typical stuffed toys or dog treats most dogs prefer. Instead, the senior pup is something of an interior decorator, insisting on bringing odd objects, including a framed print, to his bed.
“I did place it near his bed in the bedroom,” his mom (TikTokker @lifewithduke2025) admits in the video. She explains that the framed piece is a quote from The Velveteen Rabbit — good taste, Dukie.
The video quickly went viral, with many viewers noting that Dukie simply wants to decorate his space. Others pointed out his habit of bringing unusual objects to his bed, with one viewer writing, “I’m convinced Dukie was a hoarder in a past life.”
His mom shares that Duke has plenty of toys laid out in her office, but he still prefers odd household items. Sometimes she thinks she’d be better off going to Dollar Tree to buy him “weird stuff” rather than dog toys.
