Dog Rescued After Becoming Stuck for Days on Kentucky River Bank

A dog was rescued in Ulysses, Kentucky after becoming trapped on a river bank for days, according to a man who helped rescue the dog.

Ginger went missing from her home for a number of days before she was heard howling from a nearby river. Darrell Perkins found the dog and called the dog warden to help rescue her.

It was a muddy job, but the warden from Lawrence County, lowered himself down to Ginger and after getting a proper hold of her pulled her up successfully. Ginger is reportedly doing well after a check up at the vet.
