Veggie Thief! Dog Caught Digging Up Carrots Straight from the Garden

Many dogs enjoy vegetables, especially carrots — but Buddy takes it to the next level by digging them straight out of the garden!

When Buddy’s mom noticed Buddy digging in the garden she went out to take a look at what he was up to. What she discovered made her laugh. Buddy’s family wrote:

“I saw my dog Buddy out the window laying in the garden bed with something in his mouth, I started recording as I walked outside and he had dug holes in the garden, dug up the carrots, and was in the process of eating another one when I caught him in the act. We had been wondering what had been chewing off the carrot tops.”

It turns out Buddy’s family, who live in Port Alberni in British Columbia, had been wondering who was responsible for chewing off the carrot tops given the wildlife in the area. But the culprit turns out to be living closer by!
