Dog dancing is a wonderful artistic sport that not only demonstrates the remarkable bonds possible between dog and handler but also entertains and entrances viewers. This performance by Jessy and Elke Boxoen is so captivating and creative that they were catapulted to the finals at the World Champion DogDance Freestyle in 2019.
The routine entitled “Once Upon a Time” involves a “mirror” as a prop and the two expertly mirroring each other’s every move. They do this so well, they earn hearty applause from the audience and the video has been viewed more than 8 million times!
Viewers can’t say enough good things about their dance routine. “Beautiful choreography. Stunning performance,” wrote one viewer. “Such devotion by the dog. Great understanding between owner and her dog Jessie. Lovely storytelling. Well beyond anything I’ve ever seen in dog training world. Thank you. So artistic and wonderfully delivered. Just WOW!”
