With a gentle point of her cane, she gives him his instructions: “Come here and dig. Right here.”
And just like that, he does. Chewy carefully digs the perfect little hole, exactly where she asked—like he understood every word.
“Chewy knows exactly what she’s saying, Mom said.
After the flowers were planted, Grandma gave him a few loving pats and said the sweetest thing: “You did a good job, Chewy.”
