Putting up the Christmas tree is time for the family to celebrate, and that includes Solomon the Basset Hound. But this adorable dog loves to celebrate by dancing around the tree, keeping his whole family entertained.
Every time he’s near one of the several trees in the house, he does what looks like a “jolly jig” around the tree. He loves to wiggle his butt while listening to “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and other holiday tunes. At times, it sure looks like he is using the trees as his own personal butt scratcher. But maybe he’s just moving his hips to the music?
The six-year-old dog certainly is fun to watch. So much so that his mom Lisa Jeffrey says the family doesn’t need to watch any of the Christmas commercials to get into the festive spirit. They just watch Solomon dancing.
Others agree, saying Solomon cheers them up. One viewer commented on the YouTube video: “What a hound, shake that thing Solomon. Hope Santa is good to him this year. Merry Christmas.” Another wrote, “Thank you for sharing this video. It has uplifted my spirits. Have a Blessed Christmas and a joyous New Year. Your dog is so cute.”
