Dog Locks Herself in the Car and Then Falls for the Funniest Trick
While on a road trip to the Mexican border, one family made a quick stop only to come back and find themselves locked out of their SUV with the keys still inside.
The culprit? Their French Bulldog, Cati.
Dad had stepped out to stretch his legs and check on the car, and somehow, Cati managed to hit the lock button from the inside. Now the whole family was stuck outside, staring at their dog through the window and trying to convince her to press the button to roll it down.
They tapped, they pleaded… nothing. Cati was not cooperating.
So they came up with a brilliant (and slightly ridiculous) plan. They picked up a tiny Yorkie (their mother-in-law’s dog) and held it up where Cati could see. Why? Because Cati apparently cannot stand when her mom holds another dog.

And just like that, Cati’s green-eyed monster emerged and her jealousy kicked in. Cati immediately hit the button and rolled the window down saving the day.
The family burst into cheers as their wild plan actually worked, and the hilarious moment has since gone viral with over 35 million views.
Proof that sometimes, the solution isn’t to work harder… it’s just knowing your dog really well.
