Woman Brings Home a Frightened Street Dog Who Wins Over Husband in A Day
Karen rescued Passoca (which means “Sweet”) in Brazil after spotting him running through the streets, covered in fleas and clearly terrified. She was on her way to work when something inside her whispered, “You need to take this dog — something bad has happened to him.” At the time, she only rescued cats, and her husband didn’t like dogs. Yet, within a single day, he turned to her and said, “I’m already in love with him.”
From that moment, the funny, joyful dog with thin legs and soulful, expressive eyes became an inseparable part of their family.

Today, Passoca has moved with them to Italy, where he has blossomed into a therapy dog, bringing comfort and love not only to seniors but to his own family as well.
