Lonely Rescued Pittie Delighted to Get Her Very Own Puppy
When Olive was rescued by Sidewalk Specials in South Africa, she was mangy, sick, and scared. Her family no longer wanted her and gave her up. But when Jess saw the little pup with cherry eye and a mange-covered body, she knew right away she wanted to take Olive home and give her the love she deserved.
Olive was timid at first, clinging to Jess as if she already knew, “This is my new mom.” She slept for three days straight, but soon rebounded with all the happy energy a puppy should have.
Jess quickly discovered that Olive truly shone when she was around other dogs. She met Ally, a Pit Bull at Jess’s work, and was instantly smitten. Realizing how much Olive loved canine companionship, Jess decided to rescue another puppy. That’s when Rory came home — a little dog with a rough start to life who bonded instantly with Olive.
There’s nothing better than rescuing a dog… except for maybe rescuing one for your dog.
