Pit Bull Rescued From Skid Row Transforms Into a Total Love Bug

A Pit Bull named Tuesday was found living in the skid row area of Los Angeles, scared of people. A woman from Starts With One Today made it her mission to save the dog. It took three days to finally rescue Tuesday because she was so mistrustful of people.

When she was brought to the veterinarian, Tuesday was covered in layers of motor oil that had seeped into her skin, a heartbreaking sign of her hard life on the streets. After her rescue, she went into foster care with the Stand Up For Pits Foundation. That’s where Katie and Taylor first saw a picture of her and knew they wanted to give her a forever home.

At first, Tuesday was very nervous. She even had to be carried up the stairs for the first while. But slowly, with patience and love, she grew comfortable living in a home and going on walks. Now she adores adventures in the woods and at the beach. And she’s a total love bug, who adores all of Katie and Taylor’s extended family.
