Salma Hayek Shares Heartfelt Tribute After Beloved Rescue Dog Lupe Dies

Salma Hayek paid heartfelt tribute to her beloved rescue dog, Lupe, who died at the age of 18. The Academy Award-winning actress rescued Lupe from the streets of Mexico City when she was just a puppy.

Lupe captured the public’s hearts when Hayek recounted a funny story to Ellen DeGeneres of how Lupe crashed a wedding at a luxurious Bahamas hotel and ended up eating the bride and groom’s cake.

Hayek shared the news of Lupe’s passing with a sweet photograph on Instagram, showing her cuddling the dog.

“With my heart filled with love and pain I had to say goodbye to my Lupe. I am so grateful for the 18 years she enriched my life with her great spirit, she wrote in the caption.
