Thor the Pit Bull loves nothing more than to cuddle but his life wasn’t always so sweet. The dog had been stuck in a house for over a week after his owner got arrested. He was taken to the shelter and put on the euthanasia list. But one woman saw his photo and convinced her fiance, Rob, to pick him up. When they arrived at the shelter, Thor was the only dog laying down and being quiet. A week later they picked him up.
Now Rob carries Thor around the house like a baby and the Pittie whines if no one pets him. In fact, Thor’s taken to Rob more than his new mom. But she doesn’t mind, she still thinks Thor is her baby. As Thor’s mom explains in the video, Thor is the “biggest cuddle bug.” He loves to whine when she takes his spot on the couch and when he’s not getting enough pets.
Thor’s cropped ears show an unhappy past. But he has a new family among his new family’s three other dogs. There’s Eden, a Catahoula/pit mix, rescued from a dog fighting situation. Then there’s Athena, a shepherd mix adopted from the humane society, and Freya, a Great Dane, who they foster failed when they rescued her from an abusive home. Thor is right at home with the rescue pack.
