Logan was picked up as a stray in Texas along with a pregnant female dog. A rescue came along and took the mama and pups but they didn’t want Logan. As a result, the shelter where Logan was staying was going to euthanize him. A kind shelter worker saw something special in Logan and managed to get the dog’s euthanasia date pushed back twice before Logan got into a Colorado rescue.
That’s where Alison and her husband spotted him and immediately adopted him. Poor Logan was scared he was going to break the rules so he was very timid when they first brought him home. But as soon as the active couple took him hiking he was a dog transformed and his confidence came out.
“He’s a really great athlete,” says Alison. He also gets along great with Phoenix, his rescued “sister.” The two dogs now go everywhere with Alison and her husband.
