Salem the Doberman mix is a dog who doesn’t like the cold and has the cutest way to tell his mom, Lex, it’s time for him to wear his pajamas!
As Lex explains on her TikTok channel (@siriuslysalem), “Anytime Vegas drops to 30 degrees F. Salem gets incredibly cold. He’s used to extreme heat 9 months out of the year. So once winter weather hits he shivers and whimpers until I put a sweater of some kind on him. His pajamas are his favorite because it keeps his ears warm.”
Lex shared the adorable video of Salem fetching his jammies. “I’ve been hanging them up on the dog kennel & he’s started bringing them to me,” she adds.

The PJs are custom-made just for him. Aren’t they adorable? Lex got them made a few years ago because Salem gets super cold easily.

Salem also enjoys blankets and getting tucked in at night. (He gets upset if doesn’t.)

Salem is all about returning the favor too. He will fetch a blanket for his mom if she’s cold. She just has to say “I’m cold” and he’ll dash off and get it for her.

That’s because Salem has been trained to help Lex with her disabilities. Salem isn’t a service dog, but is very helpful around the house. Lex uses toys and praise to train him because he isn’t food motivated but loves toys.
Salem’s canine sibling, Sirius the Golden Retriever is equally smart at tasks and super sweet too (although he doesn’t need pjs).
