A tiny dog struggling to survive in the heart of winter got rescued thanks to rescuers being in the right place and the right time. DAR Animal Rescue had been feeding and tending to other strays on the outskirts of a Greek village when they received a call about a dog nearby.
The dog was shivering and scared as snow fell outside. She picked up the small dog who continued to shiver all the way to the vet.
Back at the vet the little girl wagged and shivered as the vet reached for her in her crate. She’s around 8 months old and underweight and covered head to toes with fleas and ticks. But now this little girl has a second chance thanks to a kind Good Samaritan and her rescuers.
