Man on Vacation Shocked to See Live Stream Video of His Dog Being Kicked at Dog Daycare

A dog owner’s vacation was cut short when he witnessed his dog being abused at the dog daycare he left his dog with.

Mike was vacationing in Mexico when he decided to check in on his rescue Pit Bull, Leo, through the live feed at the Tails R Waggin location in Tallmadge, Ohio. What he saw made his blood boil.

Mike helplessly watched as the day care worker appears to grab Leo and pin his head to the ground and then stomp on him before dragging him across the room.

Mike immediately contacted his sister, Nancy, to pick Leo up.

Nancy told News 5 Cleveland that she couldn’t sleep after watching the video.

Nancy told the news station that it is “heartbreaking” to see a place that is supposed to keep dogs safe, was instead hurting them.

A relation of Mike and Nancy shared a video of the alleged incident on Facebook:

Leo was rescued from an abusive environment, which makes the incident all the more heartbreaking.

Tails R Waggin are independently owned franchises. News 5 reached out to this particular location and the franchise owner did not want to make a comment at this time. Their website is presently unavailable. However, Nancy said that Mike had been told that the employee in the video has been fired.

The operators at the North Canton Tails R Waggin location emphasized on Facebook that the incident occurred at the Tallmadge day care, is not operated by the same owners. They released a statement regarding the incident:

According to News 5 Cleveland, Mike is currently racing home while his sister, Nancy, continues to care for Leo while he’s gone.
