When rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited first saw Olivia, she had blood seeping from a large mass covering half of her face.
They didn’t know what was wrong with her, but they scooped her up and took her back to their shelter where she was tested, and the results gave them hope.
Not only was her eye intact under the mass, but the growth was a transmissible venereal tumor that would be treatable with chemotherapy.
