Greyhound racing leaves its marks on the dogs who are victims of it. is a huge problem. After living in kennels with little to no human contact, Darcy had severe anxiety when she was adopted. She didn’t know if she trusted people and wouldn’t go near her new parents at first.
Luckily, her new brother Hermes helped her learn that people are okay and it’s okay to love. Now Darcy is the most confident of the 3 greyhounds in the house and loves to demand cuddles. And together with Hermes, Darcy is helping their family’s newest foster dog, Xavier in the same way.
