The issue of stray dogs is really complicated in Taiwan. This small island has a huge population of strays, partly because people usually don't mind them hanging around and partly because many people have no idea about responsibility for pets. Although the climate is nice there, without harsh winters, but still, strays' life is not easy, they don't have proper food or medical care, and they're exposed to many kinds of dangers - one of them is the hunters' bear traps.
But there are kind hearted people on the island too, locals and foreigners alike, working hard rescuing these poor creatures. Many of them gets adopted overseas! This little video is made by my friends in Taiwan, about one of those heroes who put so much effort and care about helping the strays in Taiwan.
