Dogs in Need: CHICO in NYC

  • I've decided to start a weekly blog feature called Dogs In Need, and I'm kicking it off with a handsome boy who's waiting in New York City. Meet Chico!

Chico is in the Manhattan shelter in New York City, awaiting a safe and loving forever home. Chico is also blind, but he does pretty well getting around by using his other senses.

Chico is 2 years old, and is a complete love bug. He loves being petted and giving kisses. Chico clearly needs to get out of the shelter and into a great home as soon as possible, so I ask you to share this post far and wide! Share it on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, anywhere a potential adopter might see this handsome boy!

There are also 2 great videos of Chico, which you can find here and here. You can see from the videos how sweet and affectionate he is, even in the shelter environment. Imagine how wonderful he'd be with a family, snuggled up on the couch, giving kisses and happily receiving belly rubs.

Chico is not available for direct adoption, so interested parties should immediately begin contacting rescue groups to facilitate the process. You can find a list of NYC rescue groups hereHe is ID#  0945405 at Manhattan ACC.

Remember, time is of the essence! Chico is waiting in Manhattan, and needs an adopter, foster, or rescue group NOW. There's no time to waste. Please help save a life by sharing Chico today!
