Alamo Square Dog Play Area
698 Scott St, San Francisco, CA 94117, United States
Alamo Square Dog Play Area is located near "Postcard Row," the row of Queen Annestyle Victorian houses along Alamo Square's eastern edge that may well be San Francisco's best-known landmark after the Golden Gate Bridge. Many other grand old mansions are along the park's perimeter or within a few blocks' walk.
This park has grassy, tree-shaded slopes with spectacular city views, as well as a playground, tennis court, popular dog play area, picnic tables, benches, and flowerbeds. Dog-lovers mix with the many groups on walking tours of the square and surrounding neighborhood, and the park is a common stop for tour busses taking visitors around San Francisco.
