Dog Friendly Parks

Alexander Park

Where: Victoria, BC V8R 1Y6
Details:

Alexander Park is sandwiched between Bay St and Walnut St at Oregon Ave. When it snows, someone builds amazing things here; in the winter of 2008/09 the park was home to an igloo.

Over on the Walnut St side of the park is a playground. It's not a big flashy affair, and it suffers from the usual fading in the sun/grafitti tagging but it's got some decent equipment and it is usually occupied. There is one main climbing structure with a few climbing options located on sand.

Dogs are allowed off-leash daily: 6am-10am & 4pm-10pm
