Impatient Boxer hilariously blasts car horn when owners away for few minutes (VIDEO)

Zoesnow_thumb By MissT | March 11, 2014 | Comments (5)

Fern the Boxer was not a happy dog when her owners parked and left her in the car while they went for a quick visit to a gallery in Britain.

Within 5 minutes, she was blasting the car horn, and passers-by captured her frustration on video, which is now going viral.

Fern's guardians Graham and Fiona Haddow were returning to their car 15 minutes later and saw crowds gathered around their car.

Realizing it was their car, Graham began to fear something had happened to Fern. He told the Express, "I started running because I was worried something had happened to her. When I got closer I realised people were pointing and laughing and taking pictures. She was sitting in there casually honking the horn."

One young man told Graham Fern had been honking the horn for the full 15 minutes. And she didn't stop when she saw Graham approach the car.

Graham told the newspaper, "Usually when Fern sees me she stands up and gets excited with her tail wagging but this time she just gave me a sideways glance and kept on honking the horn.”

Graham’s wife Fiona laughed and said it was like Fern reproaching them with a ‘where have you been? I've been waiting'. Both said Fern is a typical Boxer - a bit mischievious, a little bit stubborn and very friendly.

There's one dog you can't leave in the car.
Thank you for the laugh. I am not going to go into the whole leaving the dog in the car thing.
This is pretty funny on the surface. It does seem like this dog is a bit of a character. In my province it is illegal to leave a dog or a child alone in a car unsupervised for any period of time. The reasons for this are many including theft. We humans are creatures of habit, and this is where the problem arises from. Someone might leave their dog alone unattended on a cool day with the window open a bit and everything will be fine. They might do the same thing in similar conditions and then the sun comes out and things can get hot very quickly. I'm not going to bash these people for what they have done here, what I'm trying to say is it is never a good idea to get into the habit of leaving your dog alone in a car. Better safe then sorry. Remember dogs have a very different cooling mechanism than humans.
though i give props to the dog.
I think 15 minutes is way to long to leave a dog in car rather its warm or perfect weather if your less than than 7 minutes i am fine anything more keep the dog home.
