Rescued fox sings pretty song (VIDEO)

Zoesnow_thumb By MissT | November 04, 2013 | Comments (6)

"Kevie sings a pretty song."

Kevie was rescued from a fur farm. She is known as a Cinnamon (not a native red fox) and was born with brittle bones among other birth defects and therefore cannot be let out into the wild. She has found a loving sanctuary and she has a beautiful singing voice. :-)

She is so beautiful! Boy, am I happy she didn't become some stupid coat. Keep on singing Cinnamon. Your voice is music to our ears. :)
They could have cut the video to 20 seconds, it stopped singing at :18 seconds.
When I watched and heard this I thought of ultrasound. Like when a cat purrs they can produce infrasound. A very low inaudible sound. I wonder what range of sound the fox is actually producing? Could the fox also be producing infrasound. I wonder if the ultrasound is actually Kevie calling for a mate. I listened to it again with some good headphones and it's either an echo in the sound track of the video or another fox she is responding to. Have another close listen. Facinating.
So that's what the fox says.... <breaks into song>
What a beautiful animal. I'm so glad she will be safe for the rest of her days!
SWEET! I have never heard a fox before. Thanks for posting. He looks very content, actually falling asleep at the end. :0)
