Two students in Santiago, Chile set out to make the stray dogs wandering the city streets more visible. Called "Estoy Aquí" (translated into "I Am Here"), the campaign was an urban intervention created by Violeta Caro Pinda and Felipe Carrasco Guzmán.
They loosely placed balloons around the dog's necks and wrote phrases on the balloons like "Play With Me" and "Do Not Mistreat Me" to help raise awareness. The simple gesture brought attention to the homeless animals who walk among us, but are often ignored.
The balloons were removed after filming this campaign, which touched the hearts of animal lovers around the world.
