Andrew Crawford is homeless and proud to say that he goes hungry to feed his dog Skyler.

Andrew, who suffers from depression, said Skyler was "everything" to him. The two spend their days together in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

"She doesn't mistrust me, she doesn't abuse me, she doesn't say no she's my life," the 47-year-old said.

"There's lots of people in the streets with dogs lots of young fellas with crossbreds. Most will go without to feed their dogs. You'd go without to feed your kids, well, dogs are the same."

If you donate to help the homeless, consider inquiring if the organization you are donating to also accepts donations such as pet bedding, food and toys. Their four-legged best friends would appreciate it too!

What an amazing man. God bless you. Andrew and Skyler are true companions.
My animals come before me anyday.I. would go Hungary first.Bless these two this baby id all he has and they probably need one another!
True animal lovers would definitely feed their animals B4 themselves. Just as the story says, U would deny yourself 4 your children, many people consider their pets their children. I know I do. We as a society should consider dropping off food 2 local shelters in our own areas. I realize these R difficult times, am not suggesting U deprive yourself, just letting animal lovers know, if U can help: Please do! Thank U . .
