Hurricane Florence Reporter Rescues Dog From Flood Waters On Live Television

As Hurricane Florence descended on south eastern North Carolina, many people have been left stranded by the historic flooding, waiting on their roofs for help. Those on the ground have been pitching in to help as much as they can. That’s what happened when reporter Julie Wilson was reporting live from New Bern.

Hip deep in water, a resident was coaxing a Rottweiler through the waters, but the dog tried swimming away.

Wilson, a dog lover with dogs of her own, immediately stopped what she was doing to grab hold of the dog and rescue it People have been terrified, waiting on their roofs as the flood waters have risen in south eastern North Carolina.
