This is a great demonstration of the loyalty, protective nature and love dogs have for their families. In this case, it's the love a son has for his mom. With his mom injured on a highway, this dog runs protectively around her, diverting traffic to make sure no further harm comes to his mom. Although this seems like a heartbreaking scene, watch the video below and you'll see that there is a happy ending to this story, with mom getting the medical attention she needs and protective son getting safely off the highway after much effort.
