A stray dog who decided to cool off in an Oklahoma man's bird bath now has a forever home where he can enjoy that bird bath whenever he likes.

Larry Flick from Cushing, Oklahoma was in his garden when he discovered the stray and it didn't take long for him to win Larry heart.

Larry says, "I was watering my flowers, and heard a splash, I looked over at my bird bath and this stray dog was in my bird bath. I gave him some food & water and a I watered him down real good, he loved it. Now he won't leave. I guess I have a friend for life."

Wonderful story! I think this dog knew just where to go to get cool - and to find a new loving home, too! Kudos to Larry for caring for this lovely dog and taking him into his life. May they have many happy years together!
